MEDICAL CANNABIS (MARIJUANA) -OHIO
For information on the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy Dispensary locations and districts, and other information about how to obtain Medical Marijuana, Medical Cannabis, please visit the website:
https://www.medicalmarijuana.ohio.govthere one can find information about the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP).
In the state of Ohio, Medical Cannabis became fully operational on September 8th, 2018. For patients suffering from medical illnesses that have not responded to traditional medical treatments and therapies, medical cannabis may help. It is important to understand that one is not allowed to smoke cannabis via joint, pipe, etc...and that the cannabis is not permitted to burn if using a vaping agent. Medical Cannabis is not supplied directly through my medical office or any other doctors' offices.
It is only permitted legally to be dispensed from a dispensary that has been certified through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
Currently, in the state of Ohio, there are twenty-one allowable medical conditions that are allowed to be treated with medical cannabis(marijuana).

HERE ARE THE THREE STEPS THAT PATIENTS MUST TAKE TO BE ABLE TO GET MEDICAL CANNABIS:
Patients that wish to become a Medical Cannabis Patient must first seek an appointment with a doctor that is Certified to Recommend (CTR) medical cannabis.
I require patients to have all of their medical data from any doctors that have diagnosed or treated their medical condition(s) that the state of Ohio allows to be treated with medical cannabis, or a letter from theirdoctor(s) addressed to Dr. Gina Reghetti, that attest to their medical conditions and their referral to me for the patient to be medically evaluated for recommended medical cannabis.
I would like to have on record some supportive diagnostics/documentation, other than just a letter of referral from the doctor, if possible.
Patients are encouraged to stay with their doctors and follow up with their recommended appointments with them as directed.
Once patients have the medical records/documentation that justifies an allowable condition that hasn't responded to traditional medicine treatment, then patients can bring the information with them to their initial consult with me.
I require the initial consult, and every three months if stable follow-ups with me, sooner if their medical condition is not well controlled.
Once determined that the patient has at least one of the allowable medical conditions indicated by the state of Ohio, I will recommend a 90 day supply of medical cannabis if the patient's medical condition is stable, to be dispensed through a certified medical cannabis dispensary in Ohio.
Please understand, that I will verify the accuracy of all medical records and diagnostic reports that are presented to me directly with their doctors and treatment centers. If the records cannot be verified, or are checked but actual results differ from what was presented, then the patient will not be given a recommendation for medical cannabis, and a refund for medical consultation with me, will not be given since my expertise and time was involved with the patient's medical review.
Also, understand that I will report such behavior to the appropriate authorities which could severely limit any other possibilities to seek medical cannabis.
In other words, if one is trying to fake a medical condition to get marijuana, don't waste your time with seeking my medical service, because it won't work with me! Please, only contact me if you really are in need of medical help, and have one of the twenty-one allowable medical conditions as indicated by the state of Ohio for medical cannabis.
Once a patient seeks consultation with a doctor that is certified to recommend medical cannabis (CTR), for their medical condition(s), and the medical condition(s) is/are verified and the patient's medical examination and documentation indicates an allowable medical condition or conditions, then a recommendation for medical cannabis will be given by the doctor, and the patient will be registered into the Patient and Caregiver Registry, for Ohio Medical Marijuana Cannabis Program, (OMMCP) and a Patient Profile will be created.
Next the patient must confirm and complete their registration for Medical Cannabis through the Ohio Medical Marijuana Cannabis Program (OMMCP).
After the above steps are completed successfully then the patient can purchase medical cannabis from one of the approved medical cannabis dispensaries in Ohio.
Currently there are two in Trumbull County.
